Penny & Tony began Coast Innovations in 2021 when looking to create an income stream from their combined skillsets & experience.

Penny has over 10 years’ experience in both upholstery and repairs within both the mobility and canvas industry having started at R&D fabrication in 2011, then moving with the company when it was sold in 2016 to Tuki Design where she was the sole Mobility Upholsterer.

Tony has over 30 years’ experience in mechanical and fabrication roles with skills in everything including welding, automotive and light electrical. He is a very good problem solver when it comes to any of these things making him ideally suited to the role of fabricator and repairer of equipment.
